shouldn't be a problem. I can't imagine that small an increase in length causing any noticeable difference in reaction time.

HKS says that it must be shorter than 2 feet for their BOV but that is impossible in my 510. I made mine about 3 feet long and it seems to work fine. I have seen longer ones and have heard nothing negative. Go for it!
