vacuum leak

just got my first car and 240sx last week and when in park it idles high at around 1500 rpm. im told by 2 mechanics its probably a vacuum leak.im still learning about cars and repairs.

how and where do i find it?what do i need to do to fix it?

Does the car have idle stumbling issues at all?

You should grab a carb cleaner and spray on vacuum hoses one at a time, until your idle changes. Then check that one for any cracks.

ya carb cleaner is the easiest way to find a vacuum leak make sure you check around where the upper runners and lower plenum connect those gaskets go bad
