Did you put on an intake? If you did, it's just what happens. It can either be a sucking sound or a whistle sound.

I have an almost demonic growl from my intake after about 3500rpm.. It sounds like a vacuum leak when I am just barely on the gas at lower revs though.

I'm guessing you checked all the hose connections?

Do you have an oil catch can? sunlitsand's post made me think of this;

As to your vacuum leak, check 2 things, 1 all the connections for the catch can. 2 start the car (with hood up) and rev it a little. Watch the hose from the PCV valve to the CC and from the CC to the intake. Does the hose collapse? Also, when I put my CC on I immeadiately (sp?) noticed a louder sucking sound. An easy way to check for leaks on the CC tubing is to light a cig and hold the cherry close to the ends of the hoses. If the smoke looks to be getting sucked in, you found your leak!

If you don't have a catch can, disregard the above.

Ok...heres a twist to the thread....it SORTA sounds like i have a supercharger on my car haha...u know that high pitch whine they have? that i can hear at lower rpms, but then when i reach higher it sounds more like a sucking noise...
