Vacuum leak frustration

so i just finished up fixing my leaky intake manifold gasket, got it back started and i hear a hissing towards the back of the motor just like i did before the change, spray some carb cleaner and the engine sputters and stalls so i guess i didnt fix my leak problem anyone have any suggestions what could be leaking towards the back of the intake manifold near the head maybe egr or something?

did you make sure to get rid of all the old gasket when you removed it the first time?

Does it sound like a screaming bird when you let off the throttle after reving it? If so, Check your #4 injector seal. Mine is installed backwards, i heard the hissing sound, sprayed some wd40 on the seal(Soaked it) and the hissing is permanently gone now! :D

yea of course, i cleaned the entire side of the head with brake cleaner and scrapped off all the old gasket with a razor and i changed all the injector o rings and seals its just a faint hissing in the back of the engine bay.

Pull the #4 injector o ring out, and flip it around. and try that.
