Well I just wanted to say that I have finally fixed my vacuum leak that I have been having for a month, the car feels so good again at 0.8 bar now. I will be going to the dyno in a month or so to test out the t-3 super 60 at various boost levels. It is crazy how effective and cheap a vacuum leak test is. I will let everyone know how the dyno goes whenever I get a chance.

Did you just pressure test it with an air compressor? And yes where was it at? I believe I have the same problem right now.

When I had the vacuum leak it would idle at 400 mm Hg, but now it idles at 600 mm Hg. The vacuum leak was near the firewall. It was the one that hooked up to a censor, not to sure what it is called, but it was there.

Yeah, I used a homemade leak tester and then pressured with an air compressor. I will take a pic of it once I find batteries for my digi. It was kind of hard to find the leak because it had a rip at the metal connection, but once I pressurized the system I felt where the air was coming from.

I just found a problem with my EGR valve. The diaphram was leaking when I pressure tested it. I took it off and made a block-off plate. We'll see how that worked tomorrow.

I just made sure it was clamped down and ran a new vacuum line to it.

im just curious what sensor you are talking about. maybe one of the emission devices (BPT valve or solenoid).

Hey what's up man, I finally got a hold of my fsm to see which one it was leaking. It was the S.C.V. control solenoid valve. It has two vacuum lines hooked up to it and the one that was leaking was the one to the left if you are facing the front of the car. The S.C.V valve thingy is right on the connection of the o2 sensor. I think when I was pulling one of my a/c lines I might of teared it.
