whats up guys.... I talked w/ a couple of you about getting some pictures or diagrams about where all the vacuum lines go. If any of you have some pictures of how they are in your car I'd really like to take a look at them. Much appreciated.

thanks,-Rick:help

i cant tell you where they all go !

1. butterfly controller thingy Tee's into the FPR that goes into the back of the plenum

2. the one behind the throttle cable thing should hook up to your boost gauge and BOV.

3. the one directly under the TB plate. plug up!

the hardpipes toward the back of the manifold are useless and you should remove them.

4 turbo housing hooked to waste gate actuator.

thats all of em

I probably don't have a good connection on my boost gauge. But it just sits at 0. No vacuum at idle, no movement with the throttle.

But those are all correct. It's pretty easy once you look at it.

try letting your car run and attach the boost gauge with like a 4inch piece of tube and check for signal, you may have a kinked hose or a bad gauge.

Those should be your coolant lines going to the heater core in the dash. Are they big? About 1/2" ID?

It's a gold colored hard pipe. It is a coolant pipe. It needs to be rerouted over to the other side of the car. The JDM cars have the heater core on our drivers side. Just take it off and when the motor goes back in, you will see how the rear coolant lines hook up.

if you are talking about the hard gold pipe that is bolted on the side of the intake manifold, that is not a coolant hose thats the aac valve vacum line i believe and that connects to your IC cold pipe...

First of all, THANK YOU for using the search button, I loving seeing way old threads rehashed... In answer to your question there is a gold looking thing at the back of the manifold right below the fuel pressure regualtor. It controls the opening and closing of the butterfly valves in the intake. It's actually called a swirl control valve, but anyway. That just needs "T" in with the FPR.

Yeah nico's search finally started working so it is good and I don't want to get flame for not searching before asking. Funny my dad's answer to all my "Have you seen my ...." questions are always look first then ask me later. Well anyways, thanks for the help thats done now but now I have the Boost solenoid still working the line that goes from the Boost sol. to the back of the engine what does that line go to?
