I jsut recently swapped out my head and almost upper engine gaskets, I get the motor back together and it doesn't want to crank unless I give it gas. Once running, if I let off the gas the RPMs fall and the engine stalls. I'm assuming its a vacuum leak, and upon further inspection, I find an open vacuum port. But I don't see any lose vacuum hoses... I'm looking at the FSM trying to make heads and tails of the vacuum diagram, but I feel like I'm hitting my head against a wall, as what is on the diagram doesn't seem to match-up to the motor.

The open vacuum port is located under the upper radiator hose, off one of the two 'T's on the hardline. There is ..something.. down there with an electrical connection and direct throttle body vacuum that connects to one of those two 'T's, but I'm not sure which one. What exactly connects to the two hardline 'T's?

Also, I removed my EGR, made a block off plate for the intake manifold and welded the flare off the hardline shut for use on the exhaust. But what do I do with the vacuum lines that went to the EGR valve? As I have it, the vacuum from the EGR solenoid I've got connected to the bottom of the BPT valve.

I'll try, but the T's are literally under where you attach the radiator hose and pretty much blocks all visual access.
