Got my head off so I'm in the process of a vacuum delete on my KA24DE. I'm kind of following this: http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/intake ... embly.html but just removing the clutter essentially. I got the EGR off and blocked it off on the intake and exhaust side manifolds. I'm probly going to keep the SCV and I'm keeping the IACV/AAC and PCV valves setup. Does the FPR just get vacuum from the intake collector, no solenoid for this right? But the SCV needs to be hooked up to its solenoid which is on that pile of crap mounted to the back of the head?
Everything else from that gallery on the back of the head can be removed?
Can I just get rid of the charcoal canister and plug all hoses/lines going to it?

i did this delete and it was nothing like the write up they give you, because the guy that did the write up went ka-t, but if i remember correctly I got rid of the hole rats nest block and ran the line from the fpr to the connection on the manifold the looks like a little elbow where the fpr originally went. also if you got rid of the charcoal canister it had three vac lines that went into that block. there is going to be a hard line with a rubber hose on it all by itself it goes to the fuel tank mines just vented to the ground, but if you have the manual look in section EC-EF pages 6-8 would give you a better understanding than my rambled on mess. Good luck with the delete.

So if I want to keep my SCV, I need to have vacuum going to the solenoid ("brown plug" solenoid from the back of the head) on the left side of the solenoid (closest to where the plug is) then have a hose coming from the other end of the solenoid to the actual SCV valve. What about the other hose that comes off the solenoid? plug it?
I was thinking of just Teeing a line from the intake manifold to go to the FPR and then the SCV solenoid. Is this alright? Then I can get rid of the mess on the back of the head
