The hose that makes a crazy 90 degree turn near intake on plenum. Does anyone have a part number for it.Mine seems to suck in on it's self.

I don't know but if you pull it off and keep your engine running I bet you can figure it out when something stops working

The hose is for the pcv valve. I just made one as I had the same thing happen. No way in hell I would pay $40+ on one. You have to take the intake off to replace it didn't take me very long at all, but I don't know what your setup is. Pretty good chance not the same as mine so it might take you a few hrs..

That same hose, on my Q, developed a large hole below the elbow and was sucking in lots of air, causing me to fail emissions because of a lean condition. I finally located the leak and replaced it with a piece of elbowed hose from the local parts store. Not worth paying $44 dealer price for such a common piece.

Geez so thats why the hoses under the plenum are ~$1000 for the kit. I hope none brake when I replace my plenum and runners this year (Swap them out for clean ones). Of course I can see myself posting back about a broken hose and how they were so brittle.... :frown:

Sorry, I didn't pay close enough attention to remember the size. I just took the old one to the parts store, where the counter guys let me walk into the back, where all the crazy-shaped and curved hoses were hung up. I just picked one that matched up and was the closest inside diameter size to my old piece.

It's just a vacuum hose so any same size diameter hose that has a 90 degree elbow turn, and doesn't collapse in on itself when vacuum is present, should work just fine.
