vaccume lines Q's

i just need to know does the FPR and the secondary butter flies actuator just need a constant source of vaccume to work?

I see that they are hooked up through silonoids and im wanting to get rid of the rats nest of vacumme lines on the back of the block so i just need to make sure they only need constant vacumme to work properly or do they have to be controled through the silonoids?

just relized i may stand a better chance of gettin an answer if i tell what engine im workin on
