vac line on trans?

is this a vac line coming off the top of my rb25 trans? Totally forgot where it goes to on the motor since its been awhile since its been together. can i just go off any Vac source? Does it need a check valve so no boost enters the trans?

sorry for all the ?'s just want to make sure. Also couldnt find anything bout this searching

its not a vacuum line, its a vent line.

just attach it behind one of the bolts that holds the engine to the trans at the top/top-side of the transmission.

so no vac line goes on it. It just vents to Atmosphere right?
