cap it. not needed. in fact, does anyone know what that was in the first place?

The boost solenoid only came on Auto's. the mechanical WG on the autos is set for 5.5psi. it had a boost solenoid that upped the boost to 7psi, but I can't remember if it was a specific RPM or just throttle position. Regardless, if you cant find it or are planning on running a boost controller, dont worry about it. if you are set on having it, go for it, but I dont have a pic. a good way to check is if you have a handpump, pressurize the WG and see where it swings. If you got a clip and it was manual, you dont have one. if you got a motorset, they pobably didn't give it to you even if it did come out of an auto. good luck

I have no idea. what requires much money to plumb? vac line is like >$1 per foot? as long as your engine came out of a manual car and the turbo was not changed, it will have the 7# WG, and no boost solenoid. I would call wiring specialties and ask them if it will run correctlywith out it, but trust me, if you dont put it in now, you will regret it. I mean, why not? the wiring is the "hard" part. is it an issue of you not knowing how to plumb it, cause we will help you as much as we can.

You do NOT need the STOCK boost solenoid. you do need a vac line to your wastegate, Fuel pressure reg, BOV, and power brake booster. everything else can get a cap. if you install the boost controller, run a line from a vacuum/boost source to the BOOST CONTROLLER's solenoid, then from the solenoid to the WG.

When referencing the boost solenoid above, I was assuming the stock solenoid found on the auto RBs. You should have a solenoid with the boost controller. let me know if I am confusing you.

ok so i can just pull a vac source from the intake take it to the apexi cylinoid and then to the wg.then all i have to do i plumb my pressure sensor between the vac line going to the fuel pressure regulator.so i guess you didnt confuse me you helped i just didnt want to hurt the engine or the apexi avc-r boost controller those things aint cheap but anyways i understand now thanks.also to will i devlop knock if i turn the boost up with out tunning it im just going maybe max to 13-14psi on stock setup untill i can get a new turbo and do a full tune.
