Hey everyone I got a pretty straight forward question for the nico experts. I've been having trouble holding idle upon coming to a stop. My vac readings at idle were about 18-20 on my boost gauge at all times.

Now my vac readings are averaging 17-18 on startup. After driving for awhile my idle will dip to between 14-16 and my car will run like crap...so seems like a vac leak...

if i stall out and try to start the car my engine has a very very hard time starting up...

my bov is vented to the atmosphere but it's not leaking either

so will a vac leak cause a dip in idle? will it affect starting the engine after stalling? i'm trying to get my car ready for school and work again so any help will be appreciated. thanks in advance

a vac leak will lean the car out and shouldn't have a large effect on restart.

I would clean out your IACV (carb/throttle body cleaner), put a bottle of fuel system cleaner in the tank, inspect all vacuum line connections and check for rubbing on the entire length, check the air tube going to the IACV (bottom of the manifold and bypasses the throttle body), and inspect all air piping and hoses from the filter to the block assembly. Do you have a wideband, fuel pressure gauge or any other info on the problem?
