first i have a s13 1993 240sx with the KA in it right now (daily driver)
i know ive seen stuff about the L series swaps everywhere and sen a picture of a 5.0L swap and i like the idea and want more information about it, but havnt found any where that talks about the swap itself, a bunch about the performance gains and various plugs for the brand of install kit people have bought to do a bolt in kit, but i was looking more for the DIY walk through kinda idea mainly the pictures of the subframe tunnel and shifter hole adjustments. any ideas on this? those of you who have done this woudl you be willing to take a few pics of it for me??
and second all the talk abt SBC etc with a little talk of the much cheaper 5.0 but has anyone tried a 351W. i used to have an old mustang with a 351C in it and it was a tight fit in the mustang and really wouldnt fit in the 240, but the 351W is a bored and stroked 302 so same external dimensions (thus it should fit), its cheaper then an LS motor, big aftermarket for it (made the engine for 25ish years!) and can get F.I. for it. ontop of all that if you built the motor you can bore and stroke the 351W out to a 429 safely which you could easily put some power to the ground with that.
i guess i should just say im a fan of N/A motors and odd ball engine-car combos
any thing constructive to say about this stuff?
