Hello,

Has anyone tried to shoehorn Nissan's new 5.6 Liter Endurance V8 into a 350Z? I generally wouldn't ask a question like this with out measuring the motor or the engine bay, but since I don't have access to either.........

Probably wouldn't make much sense.

What would be smarter is the 4.5l V8 from Infiniti (or you could just wait until the G45 AWD Coupe comes out...

With the right amount of $ most anything is possible. There are RB26DETT swapped 350z's so if either V8 would fit then I'm sure someone will try it.I think that the TT kits and S/C VQ's are the affordable way to go.

I agree with jezter on this. I'd rather turbo or sc what's in there than spend the extra money for a new engine and all the things you'll need to fabricate it in there.

If you're gonna do it, since it's an all-out custom job anyway, put in a V8 w/ some balls - go for an LS1 or a Z06 motor. VROOOOM! ;)

The VK56DE (Nissan Endurance V8) is too big to fit into a 350z. A more realistic swap would be a VK45DE, the engine used in the 2003 M45/Q45.
