Been done. If you search there's a member on here who has an LS1 powered Z32.

But why would you use an LT1? Not much of a step up even from the NA VG30

well thats great that u feel that way but we just did it piss off every one that didn't think we could. This was after putting a toyota truck on top of a chevy frame and drive train and also putting diesel motor in a 1979 ford 3/4 ton all custom done with a torch and welder so bring your engine swap to town and we'll see who makes the sickest rides.

Tell him NSR...... That is not the first or the sickest swaqp in a Z32 ever by all means. I like the RB26 and as much as I hate to say it the LS1 is a decent match too.

He only swaped in a LS1 casue he is from the Mid-West. I would have at least droped a Q45 V8 in. Everyone and there mother has a small block Chevy swap in everything that moves. That is why they are gay! Hell there are LS1 in Motorcycles!
