v8 engine swap

so has any one on here ever done a a v8 swap or do they know any info about doing one?estimated horsepower pros and cons? how hard to do what kind on engine mounts? i was driving yesterday and was thinking to myslef how similar my 240 feels to my 1988 firebird fomula i used to have and was thinking of putting a v8 in 240 but thought was wacky and not possible but i just saw i 240 for sale with a a 350v8 so it really got my attention and i would like to find out more thanks
