Found this one Craigslist last night. Sweet ride with a VH41 and 5 speed transmission!
Someone in the market should scoop this one up.
Price is obo text me with an offer

For sale I have my v8 swapped 1992 240sx convertible. It's been an incredibly fun car but now that I'm back from school I need something more reliable to get to work and back. For that reason, I will consider trades for any of the FOLLOWING: Miata, mr2, mk3 supra, 240sx, 240z, Ae86, legit civic Si. Really any older Japanese sportscar.

First and foremost, the car is NOT running. It will crank but not start. It ran fine before I left for spring break but now will not start. The problem lies somewhere in the ignition system, as I have checked the fuel system and carburetor. The most likely culprit is the distributor cap ($40 part). The engine and transmission are healthy, and the only reason I'm not just fixing it myself is that life got in the way and I need something to drive to work.

And now the good stuff- The car is a 92 convertible with a carbureted VH41 out of a Q45 and a 5 speed transmission from a 300zx with an XTD race clutch. it is lowered 1.75 inches on megan racing springs. The exhaust is a custom true dual almost all the way to the back with dual cherry bombs, it sounds MEAN. Stock these engines make 268hp, which is amazing when your car only weighs 2700lbs. The car has VERY little rust, which is nearly impossible to find here in New England. On the interior, the whole sound system has been replaced with a premium Alpine setup. It sounds incredible and will come with the car for the right price. No cracks in the dash!

The car has no power steering or AC. Previous owner wanted to make this car as simple as possible under the hood. The AC delete was to free up some power and the power steering delete gives much better road feel at speed.

I am looking to get 3500 for the car. Please do not bother contacting me if you don't have AT LEAST 3000. This is already way below what I have in it. The ignition problem shouldnt be more than a hundred to fix or so, this is a STEAL. I am already losing a good chunk of cash from that price, so please don't contact me with low ball offers. Feel free to email with questions, but please only contact me if you are serious about the car. I am more than happy to answer questions, but I don't feel like playing 20 questions with broke kids who can't even come close to my asking price. The car has a clean title!

It actually looks fairly well done and very clean. I bet the car can really screw.

Pretty neat, but VH41 is such a weird choice for a V8 swap. Not really hotrod material by any means. But a carb'd VH41 is even weirder.

My thoughts EXACTLY! "A carb'd VH41, wtf?"
