Pretty difficult to understand what you got going up there.

You have a 1996 non vvt v45de (vh45de) engine.

You have a 1994 300zx vert.

You want to make it run with an 8bit ecu.

I love to help but ill need a bit more information to get a handle on what your after. Im assuming you ment vh45de and your putting a v8 in a v6 car and want to run it. If you confirm that ill search for some answers for ya. Hopefully someone with more experience with them chimes in.

Good luck,
Rob

Just use the harness from the 96 q45. You can tune a 16 bit ecu, but finding someone to tune it for a vh45de is going to be very few people.

If you want to use an 8bit ecu, you need to find a 8 bit ecu, the connectors should be the same except a few sensors. Your best bet would to ask Elwesso on the Infiniti Q45 forum. He knows his sh*t on q45's.

My advise, run the stock ecu until you know the car has no issues with the swap. Find someone that will tune a ecu 8 or 16 bit, then install that in the car. It still should bolt/mount with the same pigtail at the ecu. You may have to switch out some connectors, maybe, but that info I do not know.

CarlH Might tune those or get you with someone. He trolls over in the rb20 forums.
