Everyone swaps the SR or RB or v-8's into thier 240's but I thought why not try a VG33ER out of a SE Frontier or SE Xterra, seeing as how it is supercharged. I don't know if any of you would be interested, I just thought i would get some feedback from you. I plan on tryin to start on this sometime in march.

Not all are supercharged, it's an option. V33, I'm assuming thats the 6-cyl, just by it's displacement. My boss has a n/a Frontier (newer one), it's his DD, uses it for towing his race car and plowing our lot in the winter. From my understanding the s/c only adds about 20hp to the Frontier. But with enough time and money anything can be achieved.

I'm assuming you would be using the transmission also? If this get's passed the drawing board, I'd be mucho intrested. I just this the money would be spent better else where *cough Z32*.

Yeah, I was thinking Z32 also and thats what led me to this. Just an idea. Will be using the transmision also and prolly the 300 axle set. the charger adds about 30 hp and 44 ftlbs tq. Like you said, its on the drawing board, gunna see what it takes and if its financialy worth it you know.

Yea it's more or less a one of a kind swap, you would prolly have a better shot at something that's not done that often, as we mentioned the Z32. If you read super street you saw the F22A (Is that the S2000 motor?) in a vert. 1 or 2JZ?

Here's a crazy thought, would you be able to run the eclipse gsx motor w/o the front wheel drive? I've never seen the underneith of one, so I have no idea how the drivetrain is set up. Biggest issue is placement of everything.

The GSX's are actually AWD, GST's are FWD. But that would still be pretty interesting...

I know the GSX's are AWD, that's why I said to disconnect the FWD portion from the transfer case. As I said, I've never been under one so I have no idea how the system is set up. But they've made RWD subies and Skylines.......

+1 though for keeping a Nissan heart in there
