I wasnt sure if I should post this in here or the sr20 rwd section (since I have a s14 notchtop) but since it has more to due with the structure of the car I figured I would start here.
so my thoughts were that I want to install a v-mount in my 95 s14 I plan on keeping my radiator in its stock location and locating the IC directly behind it and the slim fans the dimentions for the v-mount are 24x12x3.5 this should be small enough for very easy placement opposite to the alternative v-mount I was looking at that was 25x18x3.5 where I forseen all sorts of relocations to hoses and hardlines
this setup would be a tremendous gain in throtle responce with total piping amounting up to around 2.5 feet (including coupler & reducer lengths) as opposed to the 7-8 feet of piping on my current FMIC! thats some serious lag
with a core of this size 24x12x3.5 would it be able to efficently support a high 300-400rwhp setup @ around 20ish psi?
any thoughts comments or experienced v-mount users please post
