Hah nah, nothing special. My current reverse LED's aren't as bright as I would like them to be so I figured with the discount code, might as well get them from v-leds since they seem the brightest (judging from the pics). In addition, got some replacements which I hope will be brighter.

v-led.com seems to have the brightest LEDs for backup, tail light, turn signal and map/dome lights. Superbrightleds.com are ok for license plate lights, but their bulbs aren't that bright. IJDMtoy.com are about the same as superbrightled.com

I don't think so. I just ordered 2 separate pairs of 194 bulbs.

What are the numbers for the reverse and brake lights? Much difference compared to stock?

the code, SAVE15 works. But not sure for how long. I just ordered 2x 12 LED stick-on strip lights and this #194/#168 socket adapter to hook the lights into the trunk socket:

http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/Trun ... 10517.html

@Jake7, the brake/tail lights use #3157...backup lights use #194/#168/#921. Basically the dome, map, door/step, 3rd or high mount stop light and backup lights use the same bulbs...#194/#168/#921 are all interchangeable.

Yes the LEDs from v-led.com ARE brighter than stock, but the more expensive ones are the brightest.

I just bought these #3157 for the tail/brake lights. I had ones earlier that I bought but were only about 35 lumens when you depress the brake.

The #194/#168 I had in my map and dome lights were only 35 lumens, but these I just put and are 105 lumens!!

Also if the bulb doesn't work when you first plug it in, just reverse it as the polarity could be reversed....

I think if you get the $60 #3157 bulbs that I got, your brake lights would be EVEN brighter! My backup bulbs are probably just as bright as yours...they're the $29.99 #921 LED bulbs, but they're only 72 lumens. The $49.99 #921 are 250 lumens, but v-led is out of stock of them at this moment. Not sure if the #194/#168 105 lumen would be any much brighter. I tend to prefer getting LED bulbs for the brake lights or turn signals or backup lights that have radial firing bulbs on the sides and on the tips instead of just the tips. I like a 360 degree firing LED bulb!! :D

Also looking for a code! I'm planning on buying LEDs to replace everything, and will be putting out a solid guide on what codes and what types are best.
