Already did. They ran full diags and everything was within factory specs.
The only thing left to do is let them run a fuel economy test, which means they top of the tank, run it down to empty, and measure the results... all at my expense. I'd do it, but I have a bad feeling that, even if they find similar results as what I report, all I will be told is that's it's within the 2008 EPA fuel consumption range for the Versa. That range (in the fine print of every vehicle's window sticker) is as low as 22MPG in the city and higher than 40MPG on the highway. So, I'm screwed.
I bought the Versa primarily for it's low fuel consumption, but now I'm stuck with a tiny little car that barely gets the fuel economy of newer generation larger/roomier V6 powered cars touting at least 50% more power and torque.
[edit]Here's the mileage we tracked for the last 2 fillups when we took a road trip. I'll be reporting these findings to the shop:
95% City, Pre-TripOdometer at fill: 7,271Trip Meter: 141Gallons: 5.32MPG: 26.50
95+% Highway, during tripOdometer at fill: 7,542Trip Meter: 271Gallons: 10.32MPG: 26.26
Yep, we got ever so slightly WORSE fuel economy on the highway (sticking to the posted speed limit of 70MPH or less).
