I have seen the term used before, and I searched a little bit. But what exactly is a v-band?

Noob i know, but I don't ask very many questions.

Sht dude two sec on google and you would be set.

V-Band is the best way to join exhaust parts together. Instead of using bolts and normal style flanges, it uses two metal rings welded onto your exhaust parts(or w/e) and a band with a V in the middle. When you install the band and tighten it down, it draws the two exhaust pieces together and creates a leak free seal.

V-band is awesome for a downpipe, no bolts to seize up or anything just one 't-bolt style' nut and your done. Its also great for any exhaust part but also has countless other uses.
