I have been refurbishing my 1990 Stanza for a couple of years and have gotten it quite reliable. The poor girl is getting up in miles (158k) and burns oil at a pretty decent rate. I'm going to be rebuilding the engine and the plan is to turbo her and the swap to the Stanza M/T is less than desirable due to reliability concerns with engines that have higher power levels.
I am hoping to gain some insight from anyone with experience in mating the Altima M/T to a single cam KA24E. I'm also curious about ability to swap bearing hubs to make the axles work. Insight involving mating issues and hopefully body mount issues as I will be putting the Altima trans. in the Stanza would be greatly appreciated!
