ive done a search on this for a bit and didnt find much. my question is with the stock radiator whats the clearance for installing an electric fan setup. also, what kind of electric fans could be used for it? i was wondering if i could pick up the dual electric fans off a 92-96 honda prelude from a junk for like 50$ and rig those to work. would it be worth that much more investment to get some heavy duty permacool? would the prelude fans clear? how would i hook them into the system?

go get the fan out of a volvo 850 sedan, it is a single fan but it covers almost the hole radiator and it is very slim line in design, also the shroud looks like it was meant for our radiators......

when you get it, there is a little black box attached to the shroud and two wires running to the fan motor, cut those two wires and remove the stock volvo controler (black thing) wire as an expensive aftermarket would and presto a trick looking electric fan.

Here is a thread on another forum, we discussed this. I installed a Flex-a-lite, very happy with it. Someone mentioned a Taurus fan. 3,000 cfm, fits on a 240 radiator, and is in any V-6 Taurus. Sounds like a ringer to me. If I can't link to another forum, someone tell me, I won't do it again.

I just had an idea, i was going to do a electric fan swap but havent had time, I am going to use the volvo fan i mentioned earlier. but was wondering what to do with the stock electric fan in the radiator now. Move it to the front and wire it backwards..... when it come on it will blow instead of suck air through the condensor. Then mount a reg electric fan on the normal engine side as usuall and use a thermostat switch (adjustable of course) That way when you are going to use ac the ac fan will still function through the switch....

oh well enough rambling...

Seems a little over complicated, and would not benifit enough, but who knows? Someone should try it who is haveing cooling difficulties.
