I blow my turbo eclipse and i planning on getting a 240sx car. What turbo parts from my eclipse can i use to make a non turbo 240sx engine turbo? Will i have to get a chip for the non turbo ecu to change the fuel curve or can i just use a sr20det turbo ecu?

The turbo is kinda small for the KA and you would have to have a turbo manifold custom made for the Mitsubishi turbo charger.

Those have side mount intercoolers, right? You probally could use it and toss it behind one of the fenders, but I don't think I have heard of anyone using a side mount intercooler on a 240, I may be mistaken on that.

Best bet is to rebuild the GST. If you want a Turbo 240 sell the DSM and start fresh. Or just keep the Mitsu and build it.

240s don't have SMIC, cause no one wants them, you're usually pretty inefficent, but 180sx's and silvia's have SMIC stock (thats with an SR or CA engine though). There is room for the SM, but a FMIC is always the way to go.

Pulsars and bluebirds have SMICs too (someytimes TMIC like Pulsar GTi-R) But I didn't know 180's had them too :)
