I've been using my KA fuel pump for three months now and no problems.... I'm running 10psi and I haven't hit any fuel cut or anything yet... How long will my fuel pump last?? Is there a replacement pump besides a Walbro unit I can use??? Like a rb20 pump or something LMK!!!

Man, the walbro pump is cheap city. just get yourself one of them. You can use a z32 pump if you want, but I think the walbro 255 is cheaper. The problem with using the ka24 pump is that it simply cannot supply enough fuel for higher horsepower (lets say, 200) applications, and can cause a lean condition. For $90 I figured it wasnt worth the risk and got myself the walbro.

You dont necessarily need an adjustable FPR. People just generally upgrade because their stock one is old and cannot keep up with the heavier duty fuel pump. Yours may be up to the task, then again it might not. You wont know until you try. If you do end up needing to change it (car running pig rich) its only a 15 minute job. Just wear gloves or something so you dont chew up your hands in this cold weather (that you have, not me). Heating up the rubber lines with a hair dryer or something would make the job much easier.
