I have some stock injectors of a 90 talon 450cc top feed injectors with the resistor pack. Now im not sure what impedence they are. But ive heard that you can use dsm resistor pack to change impedence's. Does anyone know If they will fit, or work with a top feed rail. Thanks

the injectors should be 440s and they are low impedance injectors. if u are asking about using them with the top feed fuel rail on the sohc ka they will work but u will have to have the fuel rail bored out for the injectors. stock injectors are high impedance so you will need the resistors... these will not work with dohc kagood luckNiko

I heard the 4.6 Mustang rails work. Although I've never seen it personally. I'm probably gonna pick one up just to see.

I've seen it, it works... one injector is off a tiny bit but it looks like it doesn't leak. and you can get em for cheap. the later mustangs look to have switched to a different fuel rail though, I haven't seen that one tried yet though I'm guessing it would be the same... but anyway would DSM injectors fit in the 4.6 rail? jesus this is getting sweet, eventually we can visit a junkyard and for like 100 bucks have a turbo kit.

heck if we get the whole twin cam head on single cam block swap all sorted out then the bigger injectors like this we could have some serious ka power for pennies

Finding a way to fit DSM injectors would be TOTALLY AWESOME DUDE. fo realz. $60 for a set of 450's. If you wanna be on the safe side, another $50 for cleaning.

I am going to see what I might be able to come up with, we have a set of 550cc's from a Cyclone 4g63t sitting in our shop.

That's what I'm running on my ka24e, they are 450cc. No boring or anything required. Just the resistor pack and the injector clips are a little different.

Z1500- u r using dsm 440cc inj. with the stock sohc ka fuel rail without anything done to the rail.

the injector clip is slightly different (nothing a razor blade cant fix) and u will need the resistor packs. dsms do not use msd style injectors. i do not know if the top feed fuel rail for a sohc ka would fit the dohc intake manifold (without custom mounts and the injector clips) and if the 4.6 mustang fuel rail would fit dsm injectors. good luck everyone finding out the cheapest alternative.-Niko

whoa tiger (vadem) I don't think its been verified that a sohc fuel rail has the proper spacing for a DE.the mustang 4.6 fuel rail does though. careful now. and you can prolly cank the resistor pack from any eclipse.

my mom said my room looks like a junkyard, and my friend said "yeah, but its a COOL junkyard."I don't live at home anymore so I just use my tiny old bedroom as a warehouse for all the parts that are going on my car once it gets warm. its filled to the brim.
