Using car maintenance schedule to keep the rest of life in order :)

Just a little something I thought about over the last couple months on and off. I made a little fun list to keep my life in order - inspired by all the other types of lists we have floating around this board. Gotta maintain yourself as well as your car . These try to coincide w/ doctor/dentist recommendations from what I remember learning a long way back. Please feel free to add to it.

1) Change your oil & toothbrush (3 months/3,000 mi -> on the car, not on the toothbrush ).

2) Rotate your tires & go to the dentist for teeth cleaning (6 months/6,000 mi)

3) Get a general physical check up at least as often as you change your spark plugs/minor tune-up (yearly for some of us, bi-annually for others)

4) Make sure you call your significant other at least as often as you check your tire pressure or fill up on gas (I always get complaints I spend more time w/ Silvia...)

5) Clean your room as often as you clean your car (more for some than others)

6) Water your plants at least as often as you check your oil level, tire pressure, etc.

That's a pretty good way to remember to do things... assuming the car things get done regularly. For instance, I know a lot of people who never check their tire pressure.

Hehe, yea, I don't even do some of those things as often as I should. Trying to make it a double check system - I have to take care of the plants this coming summer, so maybe that will remind me to check my tire pressure. Rotated my tires the other day, but dentist can wait... he has for years, hahahahaha.
