So I was running haltech standalone and have a tial BOV on my cold pipe.....I have been told that it is not good to use a tial BOV with a MAF and chipped ECU. Anyone know anything or can explain why this is so or even if it is true???? Thanks

It has more to do with the maf than the ecu. Since the bov on a typical setup is AFTER the maf, it's allowing metered air to be vented to atmosphere. The computer still thinks that air is entering the engine so it dumps the fuel in thinking it's the correct amount. This results in stalling and fouled out plugs alot of the time. I've always recirculated my bov and have never actually experienced this first hand. A friend of mine avoided this by changing to a blow through maf setup where the maf was installed on the cold pipe after the bov.

i run my bov atmospheric. Only reason you shouldn't is because of stalling, and running rich as stated above.I have no problems with stalling, but my car does backfire between shifts sometimes.
