Hey everyone, I keep reading the cross reference part number threads and seeing that it says for the ca18det use sr20 head gasket before 1992? I just want to make sure this is correct before I start this HG.

Thanks in advance.

SR20 HG?! I don't think so dude.

Buy: 1988 Nissan Pulsar SE 1.8/L CA18DE HG from www.rockauto.com, Nissan dealership, or local automotive parts store

Thanks for clearing things up, Ill copy and paste what every crossover part thread for the ca18det I have read, reads.

"Head gasket 11044-51E00 (CA18 all)
Head gasket 11044-50F00 (SR20) until 9/92
Head gasket 11044-50F01 (SR20) from 9/92 till 7/93
Head gasket 11044-50F10 (SR20) from7/93 onwards "

Thats where my confusion started.

Thanks!

That's just giving you PN's for the SR's. It's not saying that they cross over to the CA.

Weird, I must have read it wrong. Thread was titled ca18det crossover parts list, and thats what it read. Thanks for clearing this up for me everyone.
