I'll give it a shot. I have 2 cars from New England. Rust galore.
I don't expect it to work miracles though... you can't fix rot with a potato.

I've used this trick to get rust off the cast iron pan that my GF put in the dishwasher like a champ...

Works great, but you can push too hard on it. Yo gotta go at it with a sort of a medium attack.

molasses eats rust too, but it takes like 2 weeks, but leaves old paint intact.

So if i soak my 240 in a potato molasses mixture im good right?

No, too much starch. It makes an S13 swell up to S14 porkyness and S14s inflate to the size of a Z32. Carbs are the enemy.
