Hello,
I bought a megasquirt DIYPNP ecu for a 96 KA not thinking much of it, and mine is a 95. Since I didnt think ahead I forgot that they are different, Can I still use it, or what might I have to do to make it work?

(ECU came with the needed sensors and pigtails to swap on the harness for the temperature stuff and dizzywheel and all that I just want to know if it will work before I cut the ends off my harness to try it)

Any help would be much appreciated!

Did you get an answer on this by chance? I have a 95, how are they different from the 96? Is it the OBDII related stuff? If you're going with a full MS I wouldn't think there'd be a problem at all if you have the correct sensors and pigtails.

Well, didn't get it started yet, but should work just fine. It's a DIYPNP, using an obd2 on an obd1 should work fine, but not really the other way around I don't think. I was able to get it to at least connect via laptop and such in car, but that's all. : /

Is this project running now?
I have a microsquirt on my KA right now.

Traded the car and everything with it for a supercharged s13, lol.
