Using 10w-30 in Socal climate. Opnions.

Simple question with alot of mixed reviews, at least from what I've read on other car forums.

I found a great deal on 5qt Mobil 1 Synth. Oil but it was 10w-30. I picked it up anyways, but I won't do anything yet. I live in Los Angeles where it's never freezing. Will switching from 5W to 10W really matter?

You'll be fine as he stated above. But I dnt reccomend using it when the time of winter comes around. But for now its ok to use

Even when it is winter, the lowest it gets here is like 45˚. Is that still too low?

Id say u should be fine. Burbank area is not known to get cold as over here in the Inland Empire area
