Besides holding glasses what do you use your overhead glasses storage area for?

I open it and clip my phone on it sometimes. When I am eating tacos and driving I put the half used packet in there, so it doesn't cause a mess, until I need it for the next taco.

SL's FTL. Nothing in the headliner FTW. Although I could go for a taco now.

Now I'm sad. I keep my glasses case with the clip on shades in the passenger cupholder.

I can't imagine open taco sauce in our new Versa with the light tan interior!

LOL - Taco Sauce in there eh? Never thought of that one....I do know that my Oakley Straight Jackets CANNOT go in there! The F***ing Arms bend straight then they dont fit correctly anymore .......So for now it just gets the clip-ons for the seeing glasses.....

Wow... then what did I drive to work this morning?

I've never used my sunglass holder for anything but sunglasses. But I suppose it would make a decent alternate storage compartment for my Samsung MP3 player and associated aux cable.

"overhead ocular enahancement storage compartment" Woah... so many words for something as simple as that Does it actually have a simpler name ?

Anyway, mine as actually pretty useless... When I have sunglasses in the car, it's usually because I wear them.I don't have a garage door opener, since I don't even have a garage. No taco restaurant in Trois-Rivières, Québec. I wish there was one (even if it's a Taco Bell) !

So... I guess my anwser is... nothing's in there !

Nah, that's what the minute, eensy weensy arm rest holder is for.

Rereading the manual: not supposed to leave ocular enhancements in said oc/en compartment. That must account for the burns I get on the bridge of my nose.

I use mine to hold those small, travel-size Kleenex packages. Works great.

I was going to reply about the irony that you're not supposed to leave your sunglasses in the sunglass compartment, because it gets too hot.

I do, though, use mine just for sunglasses.

And if I'm leaving my car in the sun, I leave my glasses in the open compartment. They still get hot, but not quite molten.

I stash my insurance card and registration up there, it's easier access when I need it and anythng else I put up there heats up like liquid hot magma here in Phoenix.

I only put it in the after half of it is gone. I think it is less likely to cause a problem up there than somewhere on the seats or around me where it can slide onto the floor... Try it sometime you'll see how trusty it is mmmm Tacos
