Check out this artist.

He has a good 3D animation of a Skyline running from the cops and a lot of nice work (personally I like his redesign for the R35 more than Nissan's)

Just look around

the animation is in the pop up window under 3D animations > Extreme limit and is 7 megs

Corny as hell but you have to love the movements of the car... weight shifts, supension loads....:ylsuper

He has some really impressive stuff on his demo reel, an AE86 Panda, an Evo 8 (sorry VIII) concept. I'm in school for 3D animation so I love this stuff.

Im a freak:help

Yeah, that was pretty corny, but cool as hell none the less... Any of you know what program is used to make that animation?

I'd have to say Maya mostly, with Mental Ray for rendering, After Effects for compositing, etc, etc, etc...

On a good animation you will use a lot of different programs.

here are the programs on his resume:-Maya, Mental Ray, Studio Paint, 3DStudioMax, After Effect, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Image Ready, Dreamweaver, Flash, SoundForge, Protools, Infini-D.

Ugh... Sounds like more than I want to get into... The only program of them I know how to use is Photoshop.

it looks like he modeled the skyline after those mini rc cars. it's pretty sweet, though.

I think it has elements of a GT3 in the front air dam and the lights.....sorta next gen WRX's Much better than nissans version. Too bad it doesn't really fit in with the new nissan design style.
