useing factory hu with amp and subs. HELP!!

im trying to use my factory hu with a line converter to rca's to my amp. i have a 1.8 s. im pretty sure i dont have a factory amp. the bass is not clean and inconsistant. when i plug me ipod directly into my amp it is crisp and clean. i was also wondering if anyone could give me color codes for the rear speaker wires. also the wires that i thought were the positive and negitives if i switch the line converter wires attached to speaker wires it works either way. any help would be much appreciated. thanks

I installed a sub and Amp in my Cube krom. I started out trying to tap into the rear factory Rockford fosgate sub and got fed up with trying to figure out the wiring. I never could find the color codes for the wires so I took off the front door panels and found the colors on the front door speakers and tapped into them from the HU using an in line converter. Using a MTX Thunder Amp pushing a Solo Barrack Kicker sub and it is crazy loud. I can send you pics if it helps. I have no static at all.
