maybe even S13.

Well, the other day I was driving and I hear something in my front passenger wheel well... sounds like a rock or something that got kicked up by the tire..

I look in the rear view mirror and see something flying out and didn't think too much of it. thought... some crap that was on the road.

well, I try to break and my car starts to swerve to the right... at that point I'm like F$&@!. I was on my lunch break from work and only had an hour so I decided to keep going and take a look at what came out on my way back.

IT turns out that my bolt that holds the tension controll rod bolted to the front came out! AWESOME.

SO I went back and recovered it, looked ok but the nut was n o where to be found.. called a few places and the nut is not going to come in untill Friday, SO I look in my stockpile of nuts and bolts to see if I can find a temperary replacement for it.

here is the useless/usefull fact about our cars

THe bolt's thread and pitch are ecactly the same as our wheel studs. and so since I bought new locking lugnuts, I just bolted my old lug nut on there and it works just fine.

I will go take pictures to show you guys... I'm not gonna keep it on permenent but till the nut comes in, it is working just fine so anytume you guys are ina pinch, this info could come in handy!

That why I have a Nissan box of nuts and bolts. You never know what bolt/nut you will need. If it was me I would have never found the bolt, just my luck.

Ok, I demand a picture, i couldn't quite get the description. It's the bolt for the t/c rod?

I remember a year or two ago when I did my z-brake swap, a bolt came loose on my left control arm, making the car brake unevenly and made a clicking sound. I rolled into NTB and they found the bolt and tightened it for me. I would've never figured out where to look but the alignment guy drove the car in 1st gear at 3mph while another tech stared at the driver's side front wheel, you could see it hop a little evertime he hit the brakes. Kind of unnevering that a bolt like that would just 'come loose. Eh. ..

Gives it a custom look and flows evenly with the brake ducts.

I got a box-o-bolts and it's been handy many a time. Interesting FYI.

No kidding. I was amazed when I started tearing apart my parts car and all I was using was a 10mm for most of it. Before I let the parts car leave to the junkyard in the sky I took off nearly every nut and bolt I could and threw it all in a couple of huge ziplock bags. Definitley saved me when I needed stuff.
