Looking to make some decent upgrades to my pathfinder over the next 6 months or so. Currently already have a custom air filter.

Installing HID lights this week for fogs and headlights.

Just installed alpine speakers in the car with 4 channel alpine amp (bass doesnt sound great when turned loud) :wtf2:

Just purchased clear corners.

Currently the front and rear bumpers have large dents and scratches in them from people hitting my car in parking lots.

What suggestions do you guys have?? :chuckle:

-Do the tweeter mod
-Double din stereo with backup camera (and Satellite radio)
-Remote car starter

-Make it look pristine and well-cared for
-Do tones of preventative maintenance
-Get the dents and scratches fixed
-Replace missing screw covers, get new oem floor mats, etc...

Yup thats pretty well what I've done to mine :woot:

All good suggestions.

1) What is the tweeter mod, and how is it done?

2) What is double din stereo with a backup camera??

3) What are some examples of preventative maintenance?

4) I may just have to replace the entire bumpers :/

5) Where is a good place to get OEM floor mats?

Tweeter mod

Preventative maintenance includes replacement of all fluids and filters. The general information thread provides a lot of info regarding maintenance.

I bought a set of new OEM floor mats for cheap on eBay. I think $25 + shipping for a set of new, unused 2002 floor mats. The "Pathfinder" logo was in a different place than my original floor mats on the two front floor mats, but I can live with that.

I've:

-Larger than stock tires.

-"Painted" my summer 5 spoke wheels & spare w/black Plasti-dip.

-Removed the side steps & installed rock sliders.

-Upgraded rear lights to LED's.

-Installed HID's in the fog lights, and modified the fog lights to run independent.

I've a bunch I'd like to do: Spring lift, dash LEDs, maybe that tweeter mod & a plug & play boxed speaker.

Mind that my Pathy is an SE w/bullbar & swing out spare tire. I have Hella "blacked out" lights mounted in the middle of the bullbar. Some folks here have gone lowered and there Pathy's / Q's look sharp!

My list: stereo, lift kit, poly suspension bushings, tires.

The only thing missing is rear mechanical locker, because it was never made!!! (ARB makes an air locker but at $1300+install, i'd rather just buy a cheap Toyota 4x4 to beat up on)

Hey Town, can you link me the car mats that you bought? I am trying to find some..I bought some off there that were OEM (supposedly). Got them in the mail today, and they didnt even fit in my car. Also, they didn't even have the pathfinder logo on them : /. I just got back from the UPS store to ship them back.

It was a seller with just one set of mats, there isn't another listing for them on eBay unfortunately.
