Does anyone know where I could find a used welder, air compressor, and other tools like that around chicago?

pawnshops are always good places to start. generally you can pick some good deals ups.

Craigslist might be an option, too!

You might also wanna look at Harbor Freight. You can buy about anything new there and sometimes its cheaper than used tools.

Just don't buy air compressors from harbor freight but everthing else is great. I agree pawnshops have some good stuff, lots of power and air tools.
