would it be worth it to source out and buy a set of used OEM sway bars for front and back, and then spend more money buying end links for it?or would it be better to buy a swaybar kit with all the parts included?are OEM bars as thick as the aftermarket ones?please give me some inputs on this

I hear fronts are thick enough, it's the rear you want to beef up.. but i'd get end links for the front, and a rear kit.

just get some suspension techniques ones, they are made for your car and tuned correctly. some s14s did NOT come with rear sways IIRC

All S14 models come with a front swaybar. SE models have a rear swaybar while the base models don't. JUst get e thicker rear swaybar from suspensiontechnique, progress, or whiteline

Get both the front and back Suspension Tech. bars. I ordered my anti-sway bars from SummitRacing. They had the best price and I believe their UPS ground shipping is free, I don't remember I got 2nd day shipping. But anyway, I installed the rear bar first and drove the car a couple days with it. With just the rear bar installed I noticed that the front has a tendency to feel as if it's lifting around turns, aswell as not staying as flat as the rear. With both of the bars installed the car feels ALOT flatter and tighter around turns.

How about S13's, do all trims come with both front and rear sway bar or just SE models? Just curious...

yeah my S14 doesn't have a rear sway. And as the above poster mentioned only the rear aftermarket sways are worth it. The only point of buying an aftermarket for the front would be if it were adjustable... and even that's arguable.

I had an adjustable Whiteline Swaybar in my lancer, had 3 settings, and you could diffintely feel them all. On the tightest setting it would pick up the wheel around corners on the rear. was excellent.

S13 Silvia K's swaybars are 25.5mm thick, S13 HICAS rear bars are 21mm thick. A nice upgrade from the 15mm thick rears the stock 240SX comes with.

Wait, you have an S14 nevermind.. This info is still informative so I'll still post.
