Springs should be ok. Only thing you have to worry about is what they'll do to your stock struts/shocks.

Are you getting springs only or coilover system?

I bought a coilover system with 10k miles, and some of the nuts and spacers had so much wear you could see right through the metal! I had go those parts fabricated.

You shouldn't have any problems with 2nd hand springs, as long as they don't have too many miles.

If possible, see if you can easily compress the springs by hand. Or ask the seller to do it. If you're able to compress it without straining, you wouldn't want them on your car.
