Thanks, after a lot of calls to the body shop they finally gave me a copy of the invoice. From that I was able to get the VIN. What's really odd is the seat they put in my car came from a 2009 1.6 base with just over 9,000 on it before it died.. it was only 6 months old. The but is the seat looked terrible for it's age, was very flat and felt worn. I suppose the previous owner was just rough on the car. Ah well it was worth an attempt to try and have the insurance company replace it with a new seat.Promise Land wrote:No, the seats don't have a VIN tag on them.
