Well guys, I am building a Ka engine and a good offer on ARIAS pistons surfaced up.The only thing is that they are used. But they are exactly what I need for my setup. What do you think?Should I buy them yes or no and why?

IMO, no.

You don't have any idea how they were used, if they were installed right, if they were messed with or anything. I'd never trust engine internals to be used, sorry man.

Yes more INFO please. How long used for, why is he letting them go, how much, pictures.

I would also take them to a Mechanic or Machine shop you trust and have them inspect them.

Hi guys i'm the guy selling the pistons. these were bought from AMS not even a year ago. I drove with these pistons for 2000 miles tuned with a jwt ecu. The reason i am selling them was because when I was driving my boost spiked to about 20+ psi and with 625cc injectors and a z32 maf that makes close to 400whp and as you all know KA rods dont hold up to that kind of power and bad things happen. One of the pistons are shot but the other three have nothing wrong with them. they have carbon build up from running the jwt ecu. well here are the pictures.oh btw I would of used them but i couldnt find just 1 piston but turns out you can special order one from Arias for $175

What about roundness? That the only question my engine builder asked

What if the pistons are "detonated" because this overboost situation? Crowns could be cracked and you will not know this until you test them.

Anyway... I am still interested but I am looking for more opinions to surface.Any updates, will email you ASAP
