what should one look for when buying a used ka24de. im gonna check out this junk yard 2morr and see whats up and looking for any help. also what should be changed if i buy it. i do plan to run this engine as hard as i feel it can take and i want it to be reliable. any help would be nice.

i would look for one with low milage, or lowest milage, and not leaking oil from random plaves... but thats me... just buy one and rebuild it. thats your best bet
