they're hard to find here in the US... they're easy to find in Japan, but shipping takes quite awhile...

has anyone even called greddy? If not then i can call then and see if i can't get them through my business. I own a performance shop and can probably get then for a good price if they have them. Let me know if you want me to try

Hate to be the voice of reason on this, but head gaskets are one time use only items. After they have been torqued down, thats it, it's done.

Anyone who would buy a used headgasket is a fool.

Sorry to piss in someone's Cheerio's.

You beat me, I was just gonna say that. I used headgasket is nothing more than an once expensive slice of metal...

while I don't think I'll ever be purchasing a metal head gasket (too expensive for what it is imo), I've seen one used 3 times... still 20psi on pump, daily driven. 7Mgte we put in 83 corolla.Never "blew" the gasket tho (rod bearing issues). Just moved the head from one block to another, then back to block #1 - same gasket / head / ARPs

Well, you're welcome to try, but I'm from the, "gaskets get used once" school. Doesn't mean I'm right (and I'm probabally wrong) but that's just what I was taught.

actually guys a metal head gasket is reusable. I dont know how many time you would want to reuse one but from seeing my friend reuse one 2 times if its a well made gasket you can use it...i personaly wouldn't buy a used one if i reused one it would be one that i had already used

I guess when it comes down to it you can try it. But a head gasket is a helluva gasket to not have seal. It's not exactly a minor task to pull a head off of a motor ya know...

from what I've read its only the "stopper" kind that you absolutely shouldn't use more than once. anyway I've had this a while and I'm going turbo KA, just make me offers, highest reasonable offer takes it. I have pics too, if you are interested just email me, [email protected]oh and if anyone has any neat turbo stuff I'm up for trades, too. I've got a set of 850cc side feed high impedance injectors as well.
