Used coilovers are a roll of the dice but $$$ wise is very inticing. 3000 miles is basically a few months or so, I would say yea they should be in very nice condition if they only have 3000miles on them. As long as they weren't on the car and it was horribly wrecked or if it's a uber tyte drift machine I would pass.

as far as i know they havent been in a damaged car... they were just used for 3,000 miles, i should definitly check though... so you think they will be good? and once again how long do coilovers generally last?

life of the coilovers really depends on who owned em before and if they drove like a bastard or not and if they drove em like a bastard on public roads or on the track. 3k though, should be ok unless it's some janky heap of crap that wouldn't be worth your cash...

yeah go check the condition on em. btw it might help if you look around for how long some folks have had their megan racing coils as well. those two are the same from what I hear. but 3k on em shouldn't be bad at all.

cuz they're coming out of the same factory. unless you're getting the pros, you're gettin the same thing.

what are your inputs on the HKS Hiper-D or HKS hypermax II 's vs. these Apexi NA EXV's???

hiper-d's are way expensive. for a little more i'd rather get some zeals. hypermax ii's are a bit more overall but still pretty pricey. comparing those to the apexi na exv's is no comparison. although lots of folks seem to have decent reviews on the megans/apexi na exv's is well, not a very good comparison unless you're looking for more streetability. the hks are a bit harsher on the street but they're better overall. long term, i'd probably go with the apexi's since you can always get some megans to switch parts out with, whereas the hks cost an arm and a leg to get serviced and take forever.

your call. hks are probably better but when they go out, they'll cost you a fortune and take forever to get rebuilt. the apexi, you can find parts for cheap.
