As some of you know i was having problem after problem with my 89 240sx and decided after terrible body damage due to a yukon ripping off my front end and an engine that blew twice within a 5 month period im just going to buy another one.

My question was. I had spent $400 on an ACT clutch for my 89 240sx and installed it myself. I think i may have used the old throw out bearing when installing the new ACT clutch when installing it into my 89 because it made a wobble type of noise when i didnt have the clutch pedal pushed in. Would this clutch be able to be taken out of my 89 and put into a 92 i plan on getting this weekend? Would the 89 being a sohc and 92 being a dohc make this any different?

Basically what i would like to do if at all possible is take the ACT clutch out of my 89, buy new bearings, resurface the flywheel, and throw the clutch into the 92. Is that possible?

Thankyou!

(EDIT: The new clutch has about 5k miles on it roughly if that would help the decision any)

If the bolt pattern is the same, which I think it is, it shouldnt matter.
