Alright I'm finally going to purchase a used 06-07 M35x between 16k-25k miles.

I'm looking to spend less than 30k out the door. There are a few vehicles I've found that are fully loaded and selling for the price I'm looking for. I'm just wondering what others have paid for their used M35x

Paid 27.5k + taxes + title on a 06 M35X with the Premium Package; mileage was 33k. This was about a month ago.

I think that is a little too much. I've been shopping for a 2006 M35x, and there are a bunch with around 30k mi, for under $25k. I've seen prices come in quite a bit over the past few months, does anyone know why? I know the economy sucks, but I haven't seen the same thing happen with other similar used cars.

I did see some M35X's go for cheaper, but none of them had the premium package.

Right now I'm looking at an 07 M35x, fully loaded, crimson red, two tone interior, 16,300 miles. List is 32,997. I'd like to get 31,000 out the door, but the dealer isn't budging really on the price.. Plus they are throwing in a 100,000k 10 yr extended warranty Is this too much, or is it a decent deal?

Unfortunately, no longer a Nissan or Infiniti, but continuing here at NICO!

If it is a Nissan or Infiniti extended warranty, that is approximately a $1700 - 2000 cost (depending on the deductible - ask about that!!) ... so the effective price of the car is lower by about that much.

If it is some other third-party warranty place, I would be more skeptical and devalue it totally (IMHO) ... many of them force you to use reman or used parts, don't always cover everything, and generally are a pain in the neck to deal with to get approvals, etc. With exceptions, of course, but it is not always easy to determine that ahead of time.

I agree. It really depends on the warranty. Is it just an extended powertrain warranty or bumper to bumper? Is it through Nissan/Infiniti or third party? My father-in-law is a mechanic and says that extended warranties are a waste of money for the most part, especially when purchasing honda/acura, nissan/infiniti, and toyota/lexus vehicles.

Just curious, but in NC do you really need AWD? If it wasn't for the snow we get here in the Chicago area I wouldn't even bother looking at the all wheel drive, just my 0.02.

I will most likely be purchasing a 2006 M35x with 42,000 miles w/ the tech package for $22,900.
